Description:
Many Americans here in Israel watched the 3rd U.S. Presidential debate on foreign policy issues. That's because more than 150,000 Americans here are eligible to send in absentee ballots. Republican challenger Mitt Romney is very popular here, but some said they were disappointed by his performance. Many had expected a harder hitting Romney to show up and sharply challenge the President on his policy towards Israel, the Middle East and Iran. Instead Romney was seen as hesitant and ineffective while President Obama successfully defended his record and close ties with Israel.
