A new media watchdog - BBC Watch - has appeared on the scene with a remit to combat alleged anti-Israeli bias in news reporting by the BBC. Britain's news media flagship has often been accused of offering an anti-Israeli slant on Middle Eastern news and this new online initiative is designed to hold the state-funded broadcaster to account for its coverage of Israeli issues.
