As UK football team Manchester City defeats Malaysia 3-1 in a pre-season friendly match, the Arab owned team is rumoured to be looking to sign an Israeli midfielder. 20 year-old Nir Biton who currently plays for FC Ashdod reportedly made a good impression on Roberto Mancini and may be signed by the club following a successful trial. If Biton does indeed join Man City, it won't be until after the team's Malaysian trial as Malaysia has strict travel restrictions on Israelis.
