Every first Sunday of the month the Frankfurt Jewish Museum offers a cultural program for children ages 8 to 12. The idea is to help them integrate Jewish history and enduring Jewish traditions into their modern world. Raising Jewish children today is challenging. Since most Jews in Germany do not live in insulated Jewish bubbles, the non-Jewish world has great influence over Jewish children, and parents are pressed to find ways to give their children knowledge and pride of their Jewish heritage. Here at the Frankfurt Jewish Museum kids have fun engaging in Judaism while also promoting tolerance and understanding of other nationalities, cultures and faiths.
